The main reason would be performance, who would want to insert a DVD ROM and wait for 30 minutes to go through all the procedures.You know how installing Windows on a Virtual PC virtual machine from an .ISO CD image is teribbly fast?

How-To Instructions

Of course, you need a high speed 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive just to create a bootable Windows Vista on flash memory drive. The faster the drive the better the performance.


1.Formatting the USB Flash Memory to FAT 32 File System

Run CMD.EXE and type the following command. Note: This set of commands assumes that the USB flash drive is addressed as “disk 1?. Double check that by doing a list of the disks (type “list disk”) before cleaning it).

1. diskpart
2. select disk 1
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit



2. Copy Windows DVD ROM files to the Flash Drive
Type in command to start copying all the content from the Windows Vista DVD to your newly formatted high speed flash drive.

* xcopy d:\*.* /s/e/f e:\
where d is ur drive which contains windows and e is your pen drive

That’s it Guys!, You need to put up the system (Remember, boot it off the USB drive)see for yourself how fast the installtion is done.

Simplify 10014 / 88

1. The remainder stroke is placed so that the number of digits on its right is same as the number of digitsin the divisor (in this case its two).

2. There are three digits to the left of the remainder stroke and it gives the number of spaces to be left before the answer line is drawn (look in the figure)

3. The complement of 88 that is 12 is written below the divisor (see figure)

4. 1 is brought down .1 * 12 = 12 and this is placed below the next two places of the dividividend.

5. The second column is added up, 0 + 1 = 1 and this gives the next answer digit.

6. The comlement is then multiplied second answer digit , 12 * 1 = 12and the result is written in the next two columns.

7. The third column is added up for the next answer digit.

Folder Options Missing

Open Run and then type "gpedit.msc".

Now goto User Configuration > Administrative templates > Windows Component > Windows Explorer.
 
Click on Windows Explorer you will find the 3rd option on the right side of screen "Removes the Folder Option menu item from the Tools menu"
 
Just check it, if it is not configured then change it to enable by double clicking on it and after applying again set it to not configured.

Hide Entire Drives Partition Without Registry

1) Go to Start > Run > type "diskpart".
A DOS window will appear with following description.

DISKPART>

2) Then type "list volume"
The result will look something like one as shown below-

3) Suppose you want to hide drive E then type "select volume 3"
Then a message will appear in same window { Volume 3 is the selected volume}

4) Now type "remove letter E"
Now a message will come { Diskpart Removed the Drive letter }

sometime it requires to reboot the computer.
Diskpart will remove the letter.

Windows XP is not having capabilty to identify the unknown volume.
Your Data is now safe from unauthorised users.

To access the content of hidden Drive repeat the process mentioned above. But in 4th step replace " remove" by "assign".
It means type "assign letter E".

Increase Virtual RAM - To Make Your System Faster

Follow the steps given below :-


1) Hold down the 'Windows' Key and Press the 'Pause/Break' button at the top right of your keyboard.
Another way is Right-Clicking 'My Computer' and then Select 'Properties'.

2) Click on the 'Advanced' tab.

3) Under 'Performance', click 'Settings'.

4) Then click the 'Advanced' tab on the button that pops up.

5) Under 'Virtual Memory' at the bottom, click 'Change'.

6) Click the 'Custom Size' button.

7) For the initial size (depending on your HD space), type in anywhere from 1000-1500 (although I use 4000), and for the Maximum size type in anywhere from 2000-2500 (although I use 6000).

This is a exploit of the compression algorithms to make a small zip that will extract into extream amounts their are more ways and better ones than this one but i will only show how to make a simple 1k = 1m ratio.

1) Make a.txt file

2) Open and type the null character (alt + 255)

3) Press ctrl + a then ctrl + v a couple times to make some null bytes

4) If u have a hexeditor make the hex 00 for about 50 kilobytes.

5) Now make several copies of a.txt and name accordinly

6) Open cmd.exe

7) Type copy /b *.txt b.txt

8) Now every copy is made into a super copy and repeat

9) Once you have a nice empty big text file like 1gb. Put it in a zip archive.
Because of the simple construction of the file, 1gb of null bytes.....!

The zip is only 1 mb in size and can really annoy freinds.
For added fun hex edit the zip and you will see a bunch of hex 5555

Just add some more and the file will expand amazingly
